Senior QA Automation Engineer (SQA)
Mazu is looking for an automation engineer with a proven track record of results to expand the existing regression and performance automation framework and suite of tests. You will be responsible for improving and expanding the automation harness level as well as automating at an individual feature level. The ideal candidate will have both Perl automation experience as well as experience automating web based user interfaces using tools such as Empirix, Silk Test, Selenium etc. However, if you have in depth experience in only one of the areas, that is acceptable as well. Manual testing (black and white box) is also required on a as needed basis.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years QA experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience developing automated regression harness and suites
- Strong command of Perl
- Working knowledge of Linux and Shell Scripting
- Proven results using UI automation tools such as Winrunner, Empirix, SilkTest, Selenium, etc.
- Experience automating PHP, Java script, and AJAX based UI's a strong plus
- Bachelors Degree (CE/EE Preferred)
Experience/skills:
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux (administrative level preferred)
- Understanding of IP networking including DHCP, DNS, and IP routing
- Working knowledge of major IP infrastructure products such as firewalls, routers and switches a plus
- Experience with traffic generators such as Ixia, SmartBits, AdTech, etc.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL a plus
- Self motivated and always looking for and implementing tests/processes/infrastructure to improve quality
- Demonstrated success working individually in a team environment
