Sales Solutions Engineer - West Coast

As a Sales Solutions Engineer you will play a critical role in growing Mazu’s customer base in teaming with Regional Sales Executives to articulate the value of our products from a technical vantage point. You will need Strong knowledge in Data Networking technologies: LAN, WAN, Switching, Routing, TCP/IP. This individual should be fluent in UNIX hands on operations and have exposure to security technologies; the more the better: FW, VPN, IDS, IPS, SEM, NMS, NAC, AAA. This individual will be well verse in our technology and posses the confidence and ability to distinguish Mazu solutions from our competitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Sales Executives to penetrate key strategic accounts
  • Communicate customer needs and work with Product Management to enhance Mazu product solution capabilities
  • Work closely with engineering to address, create and develop solutions for potential customer issues and concerns
  • Schedule and conduct pilots

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of sales engineer experience
  • Demonstrated consistent quota achievement
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal ( in person and on phone), presentation, confidence
  • Very good customer interfacing experience and skills - has worked in sales or consulting field, personable, high energy, engaging, polite
  • Ability to work within a fast paced and growing sales environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
