

Cambridge, Mass. (March 1, 2005) - Paul Brady, president and COO of Mazu Networks, will address today how Mazu Profiler™, the leading network-wide intrusion prevention solution for enterprises, is being used by a growing number of public companies to ensure regulatory readiness. The talk is part of a joint presentation with Ascend Consulting that focuses on assessing customer requirements and aligning product roadmaps with customer needs.
"Adoption of our Profiler solution has exploded over the past 18 months," said Paul Brady. "Mazu solutions now protect over 5 million hosts in corporate and government networks. While internal network security is the primary reason people buy Profiler, we are seeing a growing public companies leveraging this same technology for regulatory compliance readiness. We worked with Ascend to gather additional feedback from customers, document best practices and validate our product roadmap in this area."
The presentation will be given at IT Financial Management Week 2005, which is being held March 1-2, 2005 at the Hotel Intercontinental Miami. Mr. Brady will be jointly presenting with Karl Pessinis, president of Ascend. In their presentation, entitled "A Framework for Improving IT and Business Alignment," Mr. Brady and Mr. Pessinis will be discussing their recent project to review customer needs in this critical area and assess alignment with Mazu's on-going compliance-focused development efforts.
