Mazu Networks Doubles Sales Force to Accommodate Rapidly Growing Customer Base
Cambridge, Mass. (April 5, 2005) — Mazu Networks, Inc., the leading provider of behavior-based, network security solutions for enterprises, today announced a significant increase in the company's sales force, doubling the number of representatives and establishing regional offices across the United States. The rapid expansion of the team also enables Mazu Networks to continue its success growing opportunities within the government space. Further, the market's increased awareness of internal threats and the need for improved and targeted security solutions has fueled interest in Mazu Networks' technology. In response, Mazu Networks has increased its sales force to support growing customer demand.

One of the regional offices that Mazu has launched is located in Duluth, Ga. Mazu Networks' Southeast regional office will support customers from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas. Doug Jennings, sales director, Mazu Networks, will oversee the operations at the new Southeast office. Bringing more than 20 years of technology sales expertise to the role, Jennings will be responsible for managing the regional team and customer accounts.
