Easley to present “Network Security, Regulatory Compliance and Readiness” during the 2005 Integralis Security Summit. The presentation will examine emerging network security threats, and why organizations are increasingly shifting their focus to secure their internal network. Matt Easley, senior security architect
Matt Easley has over 13 years of experience in network security, systems engineering, consulting, integration and deployment of various technologies. He has extensive experience with a wide variety of security technologies, such as Network Anomaly Detection systems, DDOS solutions, IDS/IPS, Firewalls and SEM. As senior security solutions architect, Easley works with Mazu’s Solutions Engineering Team to help clients implement more effective defense-in-depth strategies and address their security challenges.
Most recently, Easley worked with Bluefire Security, a wireless handheld security company. At Bluefire, Easley was director of systems engineering. Previously, Easley served as an analyst at Gartner (NYSE: IT), focusing specifically on IDS, IPS, and SEM solutions. Prior to Gartner, Easley was a senior security consultant and systems engineer for Exodus Communications. There he assisted customers in the design and integration of internet web sites and related networking, systems, and security infrastructures.
Easley's past security experiences also include system engineering positions at two different security startups, deploying Gauntlet application Firewalls for Fortune 50 companies, and implementing multi-Kernel Guard Systems at various military facilities.
Easley earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts.
