Afsana Akhter is the director of solutions engineering at Mazu Networks and oversees the design and deployment of Mazu Network Security Solutions for customers in the enterprise and federal space. Prior to joining Mazu Networks, Akhter was a senior solutions engineer at Cisco Systems, Inc. where she worked on the architecture and deployment of VoIP and IP over Cable Solutions for enterprises and service providers. Akhter holds bachelor of science and MEng degrees in electrical engineering with computer science from M.I.T.
