Kaplan to present at the INFOSEC Forum VIII hosted by the ISSA Central Ohio chapter. His presentation titled “Network Behavior Analysis (NBA) Systems: The New Foundation of Defense-in-Depth” will discuss research conducted by Mazu Networks and the Enterprise Strategy Group regarding how defense-in-depth architectures need to change to address the growing internal network threat.
Kaplan’s presentation will also highlight how NBA systems now form the base of security architectures by providing companies with the network visibility needed to protect critical internal assets and achieve regulatory compliance through enhanced auditing controls. Furthermore, the presentation will discuss how NBA systems, working in concert with perimeter and end-point security, can close security gaps and form a complete defense-in-depth strategy.
The INFOSEC Forum is an all-day semi-annual regional security event geared to encourage community building and networking to help the community of professionals who deal with any aspect of information security.
